An Ovambo proverb states: “Only by moving forward do we reach the end of the journey.” Tembea means to walk or to wander in Swahili. The procession through the desert, translated into modern carpet art.
Low-pile carpet in 45% silk, 35% Tibetan highland wool and 20% nettle fibers.
